We spent a fantastic afternoon learning all sorts of skills with Peter.
Animal Man Visit
We learnt a lot about sustainability and how to look after our animals.
Our Maths and Scientific Quest
In maths we made shields using our knowledge of symmetry.
We learnt how to sort different materials out which included: glitter, rice, pasta, gems, buttons, hundreds and thousands, marbles, paperclips and bells. We used sieving, magnets, and scoops.
We investigated invisible ink and then used the best to make maps.
We investigated how absorbent different materials were to soak up water from an oasis.
We learnt how to melt ice the quickest without force to retrieve our gems.
Everyone really enjoyed this quest!
We used Trundle Wheels to measure the quad. We made maps of the quad and plotted the different finds on there using co-ordinates.
Saint David's Day activities.
We created daffodil collages and worked on our cutting skills.

Song of Children's Rights
Children from Year 2 upwards have been learning a special song about the rights of children.
Dathliad Cymraeg/St David's Day Celebrations
Well done to all our Dathliad Cymraeg competition winners. We celebrated their efforts in a special assembly where we were also joined by one woman band Mrs Judith Phillips, who taught us ‘A Lan Y Mor.’
