We enjoyed returning back to the stage again for our Summer production of Pirates Versus Mermaids. Here are a few pictures of such a memorable show!
Year 2 and 3 Summer Production
Dai Woolridge!
We were so lucky that the Worship Council has organised for Dai Woolridge to visit us in school! We had great fun working with Dai. He is a spoken word poet, story teller, and children’s author. He shared some of his poems and books with us. We then created our own poems around an animal we liked.
Cross Country Certificates!
We have finally received our cross country certificates. The children in Year 3 did so well, all getting a participation certificate, and the boys won 1st place in the teams, and got a medal. Da iawn pawb!

Maths Enrichment Day
Children enjoyed a variety of problem solving activities this afternoon where they were able to use and apply their mathematical knowledge.
Animal Man!
Sphero Coding!
In DCF, we have started looking at coding. We used Sphero Bots and programmed them using our coding knowledge to stay within the tracks. We had lots of fun!
Song of Children's Rights
Children from Year 2 upwards have been learning a special song about the rights of children.
1940's Tea Party
The children have really enjoyed planning and preparing for their 1940’s themed party. Special thanks to Louise Hardwick for baking with the children, staff and volunteers and parents for supporting the event.
World Book Day
On Thursday we welcomed Judith and Gilles to share a story with us about the ‘Legend of the whistling tree’ . They read the story in English, Welsh and French. We really enjoyed finding out about the French legend.
We also looked at the story of Handa’s Suprise and we completed a variety of activities based on the story.
St. David's Day
We have enjoyed a variety of activities to celebrate St. David’s Day. We sung our hearts out to ‘Dydd Cofio Dewi Sant’ and ‘Yma o Hyd’, we read some Welsh stories and we played ‘Trap Llygodyn’ and ‘Faint o’r gloch ydy Mister Blaidd?’
