School Nurse Visit-Washing our Hands

Today the school nurse taught us a song to help us wash our hands and get rid of germs. She brought in a special machine that showed up all the germs. She read us a story and checked that our hands were germ free. Bendigedig pawb!

The importance of handwashing by the School Nurse

We had Sara, the school nurse join us this afternoon to teach us the importance of washing our hands. We learned a song and tested our hands under a special light to see if we had any germs on them. After this, we used the song we had learned from Sara to wash our hands properly and tested them again under the special light. We were all amazed at how well we washed our hands as most of the germs had disappeared.

Cluster Digital Morning at John Beddoes

Thank you to our Year Six representatives that visited John Beddoes to demonstrate how to use the drones from our cluster coding kit, while learning how to use the other pieces of coding equipment. You were stars!

Kerbcraft Road Safety

Children have really enjoyed their road safety sessions with Rob from Powys County Council. Thank you to Sue and Sue for supporting the children with their sessions.

A little Visitor

We love having Rupert visit us. We all sit really quietly and calmly so that we don’t scare him. He is really friendly.

Diogelwch Tân

We were joined by Angela today from Mid West Wales Fire Brigade. Angela is a fire safety officer. She talked to us about the types of fire, fire hazards and she read us a story about a dragon called Sbarc with an important message “Don’t touch, tell!” The story was about the danger of touching lighters and matches.
