



We used our mathematical problem solving skills to solve a problem where we used our building skills to build houses in different ways. There always had to be two bricks (rooms) on the bottom and the same number of bricks each time.

The pupils created their own checklist of everything that needed to be completed in order to answer the question โWhat will it take to be ready for a theatrical performance?โ

The Mantle of the Expert spark for this term is discoveries. The children have discovered a long lost tomb on the side of a mountain in the Valley of the kings. The discovery is reported to the British Museum who dispatch a team of archaeologists to investigate the discovery, open the tomb and catalogue whatโs inside. The children will now take on the role of the archaeologists to find out about Ancient Egypt and the treasures discovered.
