On Saturday 14th September we hosted an Away Day. The day involved 43 refugees from all over the world currently residing in Knighton visiting our School where they were greeted with refreshments and a hot meal. Volunteers from KDRSG provided delicious cakes and they arranged a range of activities including origami, pottery and jewellery making. There was guided tours around Knighton and live music. It was a fabulous day!

Our beautiful whole-school mosaic
Wow! Jody Mc Partlin from Stoneglass Mosaics has put the finishing touches to our whole-school mosaic that she has worked with the children to produce. Since Easter Jody has worked with children throughout the school to design and create the mosaic based on our school values. The project has been part funded by a grant from the Diocese. Last week we welcomed Education Practitioners from Pennsylvania, USA who visited our school to find out about our Education system in Wales. They enjoyed observing some Outdoor Learning in our recently developed areas and some Forest School activities. They really enjoyed their time at our school and the children made them feel very welcome.
