We enjoyed a fabulous end to a very busy half term. We made chocolate rice crispy cakes and we completed a range of circus activities and games. Our sunflowers have now been sent home and we can’t wait to see how tall they grow!

Year 5 and 6 had a visit from the RAF museum, where they had a go at creating their own rockets. They had to think about their design to see which one would travel the longest distance. We went on to the field to launch the rockets by pumping up pressure into their launching machine. The second activity was following instructions to make a hopper using the lego spike resources. We had a great morning!
Today Year 6 had their second Forest School session of the term. They want to have sโmores at some point but we needed to develop our fire building skills first. Two groups showed great team-work, communication skills and perseverance to create flames and sustain them. It was a little windy and we now all smell smokey!
